Stolen 04:38
Taken by the billboards and the signs. Robbed of all my youth and all my mind. TV blinded, blended, and washed down. Swallowed in the cars, the crowds, the gowns they were stolen. Potential smoked away into the night; a force field to keep away the fright. Distraction made us sheep for all the wolves. Eating us alive and we taste good, and we taste good. Their minds were stolen, robbed, and broken. Bodies stripped and wasted, left to fall apart. They drew me in and they bled you dry, but now we'll rise. We shall rise. Minds were stolen, robbed, and broken, left to fade away. Older, now aghast at all I've seen. Lonely broken people on the streets. Corporate slaves and drones until the end; only to find the beast it always wins. It always wins.

Roots 03:32
You told me what to do, what to think, what to be, and what to say. You controlled my every move and made me lose my natural way. It was too heavy of a load, so I had to head on down the road. Couldn't let you that far in my mind. Had to leave that shit behind. Cause what I want to write, I can. What I want to think, I can. What I want to do, I can. Be what I want to be, I am. Digging up the roots cause I have found there's no easy way to get out. I am digging up the roots and taking only what I need to create my own route. Well, you want a robot, some zombie clone, someone to pretend so you're not all alone. I am so much more than you can explain; far beyond mere pleasure and pain and I won't fit inside your perfect frame; can't play these silly kinds of games. I couldn't let you that far in my mind. Had to leave that shit behind.

History 03:13
And still it all rolls on... Into the morning light we stagger race. Onto some highway hurry up and wait. Till the anger and frustration starts coming on. We gotta take a breath and realize that everything you see before your eyes, you know that someday will be gone. Because time will end all your headaches and your sorrows. Don't pretend that all of your tomorrows aren't borrowed from the dust of history. And still it all rolls on... A million times or more two brothers fought over a woman or some cause forgot, till their blood is shed; the cliche tragedy. When doors are slammed and tears are cried, we gotta bring it all back down to size. You know that someday all this will be gone. And still this rock turns through the sky as we hang on for our free ride; obsessed with trivial and too short lives. It all rolls on. Time it rolls on. It won't hold on cause it's borrowed from the dust of... Life repeats love, and it repeats hate. It returns in 3-fold baby. Time it rolls on. It won't hold on cause it's borrowed from the dust of history.

Time again for the tribes to gather round. Fires high. Cloaks pulled tight against the cold. Holding their breath as the old crone unwinds our mythology and our history of life before the planet wars, before machines turned skies to blood and the gods threw stars into line and the old tribes died to grab their share. The old peoples were misled by gold and fuel. The wise went into hiding. Never fully relating our future to all our present sins, we sought out happiness; staggering blind and dumb, we sealed our fate with one last bomb. Now we wipe the dust from our eyes as we look around in surprise. We promised ourselves we'd never make the same mistake over again. As the old gods did their juggling trick and the planets aligned and the fires lit, the old ones couldn't see cause and effect; future disasters caused by past neglect. The gods turned their back on humanity. You must remember. Don't ignore your history, and pray that new gods grant us clarity. The old peoples were misled by gold and fuel. The wise went into hiding. Leaving idiots to rule the numbers grew uncountable. Never fully relating our future to all our present sins we sought out happiness; staggering blind and dumb we sealed our fate with one last bomb. Now we wipe the dust from our eyes as we look around in surprise. We promised ourselves we'd never make the same mistake ever again. Over again. Over again. And the wheel rusting in our path reminds us of our shattered past and the difference between want and need and the price of ignorance and greed.

All I ever wanted was to make you happy, but somewhere deep inside you was something twisted, dark, and chill; a hole that I could never fill. Only scars inside your haunted head and wounds I couldn't heal. All I ever wanted was to make you happy. All I ever tried to do was be your friend, but all you ever did was revel in your sorrow. All you ever lived for was to reach your bitter end! I guess I always knew that this would all end badly. I fooled myself into thinking that I could be the one, but the damage couldn't be undone. All I ever wanted was to make you happy, but fate it wouldn't have it any other way. All you ever did was revel in your sorrow. All you ever lived for was to reach your final day! The end!

Hang 10 03:44
It's been so long. I don't think about it now as I question what is real. Far away there's an ordinary world where it sleeps so well concealed. I can't stop falling down. I can't stop falling. Half a mile from where I thought I'd be right now, I never questioned what I'd seen, and as I look back on life it seems to me, that it's all just been a dream. Wait! There's nothing wrong with me as far as I can see. You always make it so much harder than it has to be. Then it blows up in your face; another tragedy. Lost inside a broken mind, but not of my design. You always called it faith! I called it left behind! Can't you see my face? This is not me!

Life Goes On 03:48
Life goes on forever. If you understand the meaning, clear your mind. When you just go through the motions, you'll find there's no one left to hear you cry. I see your doing very well dispensing other people's hell, but do you have the answer? Do you have the answer? All in all and all you'll find are the echoes of a poisoned mind, and it's left you with these questions. Racing into never with no sense of direction like you're blind. You're pawning your tomorrows, but you know those old debts will come due in time. Why did everything go wrong? Why did nothing work out right? Life goes on forever, but not if you have nothing left behind. Ancient, empty ruins are relics of an older place and time. The world's our pawn and you our king; ruler over everything, but do you have the answer? Do you have the answer? Small contentments, greed and gold, send echoes through your empty soul, and it's left you with this question.

Mine 05:08
When I met you, you said I saw you. What you thought, you said I knew. How you felt about life's sorrow was what you shared with me. I wanna break you down. I wanna make you drown. Drown in love so you cannot see. Drown inside, inside of me. So share your self with me. So here we are now. You've got me now. Why won't you let me make you drown? I wanna break those wall you hide behind. I wanna set you free to blow my mind. So share your self with me. Let me see what life could be like in your arms, and if you love me, don't hide away cause I can set you free! Sometimes I think; I see; I know. Sometimes, you leave nowhere to go. Sometimes you want; You feel; You touch. Sometimes, oh I am just too much. So share your self with me. Let me see what life could be like in your arms, and if you love me, don't hide away cause I can set you free! Yes I can cause you're all mine.

Crawling Out 04:01
Time makes you wise; makes you cold. Searching as you're bought and sold for something more a kindred soul; the missing piece that makes me whole. I'm swallowed down into the ground, but inch by inch by inch by inch I'm crawling out of this dark hole I somehow found again. Inch by inch by inch by inch I'm crawling out. I've got to climb; got to reach your saving hand outstretched to me. A dark, piercing light through the black sea; my one slim chance to be set free.

Red James 06:14
Your picture only shows a face. It cannot show the heart. You broke my heart now you shall see how quickly I depart. You say it's love, but it is not. You will not capture me. I'm gonna leave you all alone. You are the enemy. An untruth only shows a trace. Deceitfulness is over now. There is no compromise. One look at you shows me disgrace, but cannot show us why, my love was unconditional. Yet, you could never try. I'm not the fool you took me for. I think you now can see I'm gonna leave you all alone. No more of this misery. Rumors and lies they only hide. They do not change what's real. Your good was bad. It's now so clear how I should really feel. I'm not the fool you took me for. I think you now can see. I'm gonna leave you all alone. No more of this misery. And all you have said has been in vain. It's time to be set free. I'm gonna leave you all alone. You are the enemy. You are my enemy. Red James. Yes, you are my enemy. Oh, yes you are. Red James.

Primal Fear 04:48
Inside me, I can see an animal with primal fears. I can see, inside me, an animal that cries no tears. I can feel the passion rise, knowing life is full of lies. I hear a song that calls me out; an animal that will scream and shout. It's right outside your door. It's what you're looking for. It's right outside your door. Watch it grow so near, and watch it disappear. Inside me, I can see a raging beast that cares no mroe. I can see, inside me, the beast within that kills again.
